offered to fellow officers to help them? yeah, we re the police department and the village of fox lake are working to get the northeastern illinois stress debriefing team in, offering employee assistance programs. we ve got some clergy assistance as well. so yeah, that was almost immediate. in the absence of any evidence that they are still in the area, how long would the saturation patrols continue? again, that s something we re going to discuss today, and i m sure we re going to review that every day. so thank you folks. does fox lake have body cameras? thank you, folks. authorities there in fox lake, illinois, concluding their press conference, updating us on the latest on the manhunt for three accused cop killer. the suspects there on the run over 24 hours from now. the authorities there telling us and giving us the update that they are making progress, they
following that, the lake county sheriff s office and the illinois state police allocate add number of deputies and troopers to assist the fox lake police department in saturation patrols across the area. the purpose of the saturation patrols is two pronged to continue looking for these individuals and, number two, follow up on any leads that come in of suspicious people and forward leads to the major crimes task force. additionally, it s to advise residents of fox lake that law enforce system here to support them, we re here to keep the community safe and we ll go hand in hand with the residents of fox lake to ensure their security at this time. when an incident like this happens it victimizes not just the police department but the whole community, we are here for them. the schools in the area decided to close today for a couple reasons. obviously primarily to keep the

after 14 hours after not locating the suspects, the perimeter was released. what that means today and last night is the lake county sheriff s office, the illinois state police are providing marked squad cars for saturation patrols here in fox lake, assisting the fox lake police department, to beef up the police presence. let s go to msnbc s adam maurice in fox lake. what is the latest news for these three individuals? they just put up the black and purple bunting here at fox lake and tributes continue to pour in. they are conducting a saturation search today. the perimeter that was set up yesterday and so thoroughly searched, that has been released. that has come down. right now it s a saturation search mostly to make sure here residents feel very comfortable, those three fugitives still on the run. two white men, one black man believed to be armed and dangerous, but that s about all we know about them. schools have closed here in the area and they ve asked people to
