Funimation delighted a lot of fans last year with their pickup of the Satoshi Kon-directed anime series
Paranoia Agent, which had been out of print for a long time. Some new information recently came out of Japan regarding the property as well as distributor Frontier Works has set a compact single-disc version of the series for release. This compact edition will bring the thirteen-episode run with no extras out on May 26th, 2021 where it’ll be priced at 9,000 yen. It’ll be in Japanese with no subtitle options and no extras.
With that coming up in a few weeks, the main cover artwork has now been released. While there’s always the hope we’ll get something new and updated, even with a compact release, this goes for the traditional cover design.
