Basic materials stocks were trading in green, with the S&P BSE Basic Materials index increasing 59.47 points or 1.31% at 4603.6 at 09:49 IST. Among the components of the S&P BSE Basic Materials index, Alkyl Amines Chemicals Ltd (up 7.75%), Balaji Amines Ltd (up 5.42%),National Fertilizer Ltd (up 5.4%),Hindustan Copper Ltd (up 5.3%),GHCL Ltd (up 4.23%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd (up 4.06%), National Aluminium Company Ltd (up 4.06%), Hindalco Industries Ltd (up 3.88%), Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals Corp Ltd (up 3.85%), and Deepak Nitrite Ltd (up 3.85%). On the other hand, Vikas Wsp Ltd (down 4.02%), Satia Industries Ltd (down 1.4%), and N R Agarwal Industries Ltd (down 1.33%) turned lower.

Among the other losers were Aarti Surfactants Ltd (down 1.95%), Shree Cement Ltd (down 1.75%), Godrej Industries Ltd (down 1.55%), Solar Industries India Ltd (down 1.52%), and I G Petrochemicals Ltd (down 1.45%). On the other hand, Supreme Petrochem Ltd (up 7.39%), Rossari Biotech Ltd (up 7.31%), and Vikas Wsp Ltd (up 7.01%) turned up.
Satia Industries Ltd receives order from Text-book Board

Satia Industries Limited (SIL), one of the largest Wood and Agrobased paper manufacturers in India with a fully integrated manufacturing facility, has received an order from Rajasthan State textbook board for the supply of 8900 MT paper.
The company has been awarded an order worth ₹596.30 million from Rajasthan state textbook board, for supply of 8900 MT paper at a gross realization of ₹67,000 per ton. The said order will be executed by or before the end of Q1FY22 i.e 30th June 2021.
With the surge in per ton realization in paper prices which is at par or has crossed pre-Covid levels of ₹60,000 per ton registering an increase of 25-30% in the average pricing/realization of different varieties of paper than the average realization of ₹ 48,000+ in FY20-21.

The Board of directors of Satia Industries Ltd in its meeting held today i.e. December 21, considered, approved and authorized Dr Ajay Satia, Chairman Cum Managing Director to make the bid for acquisition of Ballarpur Industries Limited which is under Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP).
The board authorized Dr Ajay Satia CMD and Sh Rajinder Kumar Bhandari, Joint Managing Director to negotiate and issue the appointment letter to Price Waterhouse Cooper private limited (PWC) as advisor to assist the Company for acquisition of Ballarpur Industries Limited under (CIRP).
