yeah. i wasn t quite exactly looking directly at it at the point. i was making sure i was getting the shot. of course, looking behind me making sure there were no satellite tornado coming around the back side of it. then you got to watch out for the rfp which is the down drift which is 120-mile-an-hour wind gusts that you get coming in behind the tornado. fortunately that wasn t an issue so it was kind of like that nice little sweet spot between that and the tornado itself. we call that the bear s cage when you re in there. it s like you re graping with a bear inside the rain wrapped area of the super cell. it is a sight to see. it is, no doubt, a monster the way you can see those cloud just starting to wrap around the whole thing and seem to, as i said, just get sucked in everything that is around it. chris, we are glad you re okay, first and foremost, but thank you for sharing your experience here. again, we are watching this threat today because there is more severe weather expe
