Health officials reported 48 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, along with 96 recoveries and no new deaths.
The province also announced another 22,308 vaccine doses administered, 1,998 of which were first doses. There are now 394,774 fully vaccinated residents, 27,815 of which are in North Central.
North Central reported six new cases on Sunday, plus seven recoveries. There are now 55 active cases in the region. That’s the lowest total in North Central since April 8.
All six North Central cases were in Prince Albert. There are now 11 active cases in North Central Zone 1, 41 in North Central Zone 2, which includes Prince Albert, and three in North Central Zone 3.
Province announces 36 new COVID-19 cases, 87 recoveries, no deaths in Tuesday update
Health officials reported 36 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, along with 87 recoveries and no new deaths.
North Central reported two new cases, both of which were in Prince Albert, and 18 recoveries. The province also removed one case from the North Central total after the patient was deemed to be an out-of-province resident. That was one of 21 cases removed from Saskatchewan’s total.
There are now 57 active cases in North Central, 33 of which are in Prince Albert. North Central Zone 1 has 19 and Zone 3 has five.
The Far North East reported three new cases on Tuesday. Those were the only new cases reported in the entire far north.

Provincial health officials reported 55 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, along with 89 recoveries and one new death.
A patient in the 80-plus age category from the Saskatoon Zone died after testing positive for the virus. The province did not release any other details about the case.
Healthcare workers administered another 9,928 vaccine doses on Sunday, including 690 in North Central, 21 in the Far North West, 25 in the Far North East, 136 in the North East, and 10 in Far North Central.
Roughly 69 per cent of Saskatchewan adults have received their first dose. Saskatchewan will enter the third phase of the provincial reopening plan once that total hits 70.
