Ferguson May 26, 2021 | 12:12 PM Saskatoon Police have gone from looking for a specific vehicle to now looking for a woman they believe was driving the SUV involved in a fatal hit and run accident May 10th. An arrest warrant for Failing to Remain at the Scene of an Accident has been issued for 36-year-old Chasity Erin Kyplain. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Kyplain is asked to contact the Saskatoon Police Service or Crime Stoppers. Police continue to search for the suspect vehicle which is a blue, 2007 Jeep Compass. Around 9:15 p.m. on Monday May 10th, police were called to an accident in the 3200 block of 33rd Street where someone had been injured. Officers found a woman with severe life threatening injuries. Despite efforts by Medavie Health Services and the Saskatoon Fire Department she died at the scene.
