Saskatchewan opens second intake for veteran program funding

Saskatchewan opens second intake for veteran program funding SHARE ON: The Saskatchewan Government has opened a second intake for the Saskatchewan Veteran Service Club Support Program. The initiative seeks to provide funding for the long-term sustainability of Saskatchewan’s service clubs, which in turn support veterans, their families and communities in our province. The program works with the Royal Canadian Legion, Saskatchewan Command and the Army, Navy, and Air Force Veterans Saskatchewan Provincial Command. Registered, non-profit veteran service clubs based in Saskatchewan are eligible to apply for grants up to $25,000. During its first intake, 39 veteran service clubs across Saskatchewan received $634,000.
