Of beautiful multiracial multigenerational group of people who said we want to build a movement in this country for a more caring america, a more caring economy that works for families and for workers and supports us all to live with dignity at every stage of life. And four years later we are building in cities and states around the country. We have reached almost threequarters of a million senior voters every year, talking to them about caregiving and aging and longterm care and how we prepare for their future. We have been working hard to pass home care a rule change that will bring 2 million home care workers under minimumwage and overtime protection in the history of this country. [applause] so a movement for a more caring future is underway. Its growing and its making a difference. But really this is just the beginning and we are hoping that the age of dignity opens up another platform for us to continue building this conversation and building this momentum towards the solutions t

I really appreciate that question because actually when we develop caring across generations with those two demographic shifts in my. That there is enormous opportunity for us to think about how we are we being a whole new social contract in the fabric of our nation weeding and. And the truth is i want to go back to this point about multigenerational relationship and the imports of multigenerational relationships that help bridge a lot of the gaps. I think weve worked really hard in the campaign to think about people who are aging people with disabilities, the caregivers themselves whether their family caregivers or the workers themselves, and really the demographics of who are the workers and one of the need for those workers. But also looking at people like myself or in the Sandwich Generation who are also trying to figure out how we meet the needs of our children and also the needs of her aging parents. Or aging loved ones in our household. And even how we are managing ourselves in

For as you mentioned 6,000 people or so, Long Island Sound took on brutal winds and that caused a lot of the Power Outages here in rhode island. About 185,000 customers of National Grid without power. So about almost 40 of their customer base. Thats a lot of folks, unfortunately. And its going to be a long time, perhaps, before a lot of them get their power back on because of all this snow out here. Now, this is stuff piled up by snow crews, as plows coming through trying to keep portions of downtown open here. Fortunately, theres not a lot of traffic. Thats a good thing. They got to keep the roads open because these are arteries to trauma centers. Hopefully, we wont have muched me for that today. But obviously, theyre trying to get everything out of the way for power crews to assess the situation. One thing we can talk about, the fact that this snow will stop falling, hopefully, within the next hour or so so the crews can start working in earnest today to get the power restored. Massa
