To the editor:
We are writing this letter to recognize the life-saving actions of three members of the Logan County Sheriff’s Department. On the evening of November 12, 2020, Jane- a loved wife, mother, and grandmother- experienced a sudden cardiac arrest at home in Lincoln. In an astoundingly short response time, these three gentlemen arrived on the scene, taking over CPR and implementing the use of an AED without delay. This timely defibrillation was truly a lifesaving intervention. It is not lost on our family the value of their swift and steady action. It was their teamwork and composure that thwarted a potentially tragic night.
