Mumbai on Sunday reported 8,496 new cases of coronavirus and 53 deaths, taking the caseload to 5,79,311 with 12,347 fatalities. At present, 87,698 patients are undergoing treatment in the city. Train passengers from Kerala, Goa, Rajasthan, Delhi-NCR, Gujarat and Uttarakhand will now be required to produce a negative RT-PCR test report taken at most 48 hours before travelling to Maharashtra.Meanwhile, BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis, who is being targeted by the ruling parties in Maharashtra for objecting to Mumbai police s grilling of a pharma company s top executive over alleged stocking of Remdesivir vials, on Sunday said he was not afraid of any inquiry against him as he has not done anything wrong.Catch all the latest updates here:
