He was recently diagnosed with Covid-19 and was undergoing treatment for various issues including kidney damage, uncontrolled sugar, and multi-organism failure. Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh informed on Twitter about the demise of the singer. Many singers and celebrities also paid tributes to the late singer on social media.
