One Sarbjeet Singh, father of Punjabi singer Amrit Maan, made a fake SC certificate to get a government job of a math teacher reserved for the SC category in 1989.
The complaint had been submitted by one Avtar Singh Sahota, now a retired officer of state government, in which he had alleged that Sarbjeet Singh had worked for over 34 years by using a false SC certificate.
A spokesman said that the NCSC had received information through a news report that alleged that Sarbjeet Singh had submitted a false SC category certificate to get a government job
