2. Sarasota Native American Art & Music Festival
The rich culture, artistry, music, food and traditions of the Native American people will be on display at the 14th annual Sarasota Native American Art & Music Festival. This year’s event will feature the first annual Sarasota Native American Music Concert (tickets are $15 or festival/concert combo $22; children free.) Taking place 6-10 p.m. Saturday, the numerous acts on the lineup include Stevie Strings, singer Teri Garrison performing with Richy Kicklighter, and The Huntoons debuting a tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan and the Allman Brothers Band. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. and 6-10 p.m. (concert) Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday; Sarasota Fairgrounds, 3000 Ringling Blvd., Sarasota.
