Buccaneers bring Vince Lombardi Trophy to Sarasota City Hall

Brody invited the Bucs to Sarasota to recognize the team for its historic win over the Kansas City Chiefs at Raymond James Stadium in February. The Buccaneers became the first team to win – or even to play in – a Super Bowl in its home stadium.  Brody, in a brief statement, quoted legendary Green Bay Packers head coach Vince Lombardi, the trophy’s namesake.  “Individual commitment to a group effort – that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work,” Brody said.  Brody added: “Let this championship be a reminder to us all that anything is possible when we work together and work hard.”
