BATAVIA — An investigation into an alleged sexual assault on June 1 has led to charges for a South Main Street man, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.
Douglas M. Ashworth, 48, of Vine Street, Batavia, is charged with menacing. Ashworth is accused of pointing a rifle at two youths on Oct. 9 on Vine Street in Batavia and placing the individuals in reasonable fear of injury or death.
