The Good Food Awards, which celebrate products that are "tasty, authentic and responsible," recently moved to Portland after more than a decade in San Francisco.
Since 2011, the Good Food Foundation has presented its distinguished Good Food Awards right in its founding city of San Francisco. This year, however, the event will be moving from one foodie city to the next: Portland. The Good Food Foundation was founded by Sarah Weiner and Dominic Phillips in 2010, although it didn’t get its current name until 2016.
On April 21, the coveted craft food award ceremony will make its local debut at Revolution Hall. Founder Sarah Weiner reveals why the Rose City is the place to be.
