New at noon a man sentenced to a decade behind bars for breaking a babys bones. This story is horrifying. 21yearold william khuns, from charles city, got handed that sentence yesterday. He pleaded guilty to child endangerment for hurting that baby until the point the childs ribs r nine broken bones. Two people facing charges, for the death of a four yearold girl, enter not guilty pleas. Chad little is pleading not guilty to first degree murder. In the death of this little girl, gracie buss. She was found unconscious in her home in waterloo last year. And died at the hospital. Autopsy results show she died of severe trauma to her head. Investigators are now trying to figure out a cause. Johnson county Sheriffs Office says 2 people are in custody this morning following an Armed Robbery at a convenience store. That was around midnight at the kum and go at 205 2nd street in coralville. The suspects showed a knife to the clerk, but no one was injured in the robbery. Waterloo police have released the name of the 7yearold boy who was seriously injured when a pickup truck hit him. Police say Leighton Pullin ran out on the house when the vehicle hit him tuesday. It happened in the 600 block of west 11th street. Pullin went to the uihc, with lifethreatening injuries. Police have not cited the driver of the pickup truck.
