RESIDENTS said work to repair disgusting and dangerous potholes in a busy Southampton road is well overdue . A number of residents living in Paynes Road, in Freemantle, said the road surface has deteriorated over the past months. It comes as work to repair the road is expected to be carried out over the next few months, it has been revealed. Local resident Sarah Shah, 53, account manager, said: It is well overdue. Look at the potholes, they are disgusting. I think they are dangerous for everyone. You can trip and fall. In my opinion they should have more restrictions on traffic because traffic is not helping it at all, there s lots of heavy lorries.
