Newport News police charged Pele Jackson with malicious wounding and other weapons charges following a shooting Sunday morning that left one man with life-threatening injuries.
A man sustained life-threatening gunshot wounds in a shooting in Newport News on Sunday. An unidentified man was detained, but has not yet been charged in the incident.
Dartanion Revels, 28, was arrested Tuesday in connection with an early morning shooting near the Stuart Gardens apartments. A 29-year-old Newport News man was severely injured and suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
A police spokesperson said investigators believe the teenage girl was crossing Jefferson Avenue when she was struck by a privately-owned ambulance. No charges have been filed, but the investigation is ongoing.
