A popular Nelson Mandela Bay nightclub, where a man was stabbed before dying on his way to hospital at the weekend, has temporarily closed its doors pending a police investigation.
A parolee, who spent time behind bars for his role in the murder of a Nelson Mandela Bay couple 12 years ago, became the victim of a fatal stabbing at a Bethelsdorp nightclub at the weekend.
Three men, found guilty of the brutal killing of Owen Demingo, 31, and Sarah-Jane Oliphant, 22 in January 2011, have each received two life sentences. The couple were abducted from the Chatty Community Centre, robed and forced to withdraw money from an ATM before they were shot and killed. Their bodies were dumped in Marine Drive.
