PRA surpasses revenue collection target July 2, 2021 LAHORE: The Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) surpassed the revenue collection target for the fiscal year 2020-21 by collecting Rs144.1 billion against the revised upward target of Rs 141.15 billion. According to the provisional figures released by the PRA, the authority registered a growth of 62 per cent in June 2021 by collecting revenue of Rs15.47 billion as compared to the corresponding period of June 2020 Rs 9.55 billion. The PRA witnessed 32.7 per cent growth on year basis by collecting Rs144.1 billion in fiscal year 2020-21 as compared to the corresponding fiscal year of Rs 108.59 billion. Initially, the Punjab government had fixed the revenue target of Rs 125 billion for fiscal year 2020-21 which was increased to Rs141.15 billion following the revenue collection performance of the authority.

Change in nature of coronavirus: Punjab health secy fears fourth wave of pandemic

File photo MULTAN: Punjab Primary and Secondary Health Secretary Sara Aslam has said that 12 per cent of the population has been vaccinated in the province while the target of vaccinating 20.7 million people will be achieved by next December. She said this while talking to journalists after presiding over a meeting and visiting the Corona Vaccination Centre at Nishtar Medical University on Tuesday. The Punjab secretary said that the process of corona vaccination was in full swing in Punjab and the vaccination target would be achieved accordingly. The government had changed the advice of Pfizer vaccine and now Pakistanis going abroad had also been allowed to get Pfizer vaccine.

Vaccine available in abundance

June 29, 2021 LAHORE: Secretary Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department (PSHD) Sarah Aslam and her team visited Expo Vaccination Centre Lahore and inspected the vaccination stock. She issued orders to ensure timely supply of vaccines. She also inspected the mega ILRs Ultra-Cool Chains System, which maintains a temperature of minus 18 degrees or below for the storage of Russian Vaccine Sputnik. Expo Vaccination Centre has an abundance of Sinopharm, Cansino, and Sinovac vaccines. Sarah Aslam, in this regard, said that baseless reports regarding the shortage of Sputnik Vaccine should not be believed and more than 50,000 doses of Sputnik Vaccine would be delivered to Punjab this week.
