The owners of a south east Denver clinic serving refugees, immigrants and other groups that struggle to afford medical care say they are at risk of shutting down after the City Council changed the land use rules governing their property and capped the maximum building height on their land at three stories.
The property is currently zoned as a health care campus, which allows for six stories. The center owns a second building on the same property that it was planning to convert into a dental and vision clinic.
