Woman lied about pregnancy to steal $12,000 from couple seeking to adopt baby, Mobile police say

Sara Adkins, 34, is wanted for theft of property first-degree charges, according to officials.
Adkins allegedly took around $12,000 from a couple for months after she miscarried.
The child Adkins was carrying would’ve been adopted to the couple, according to police.
