Stretching 50,000 feet, the well is part of ADNOC Offshore’s extended reach drilling project that could increase Upper Zakum’s production capacity by 15,000 bpd.
The award will increase Lower Zakum field’s gas production capacity from 430 million to 700 million standard cubic feet per day, supporting ADNOC’s plans to cater for increasing global energy demand.
