addressed the unprecedented indictment friday. we have one set of laws in this country, and they apply to everyone. if applying those laws, collecting facts, that s what determines the outcome of an investigation. nothing more and nothing less. paul: joining me now is the former attorney general of the united states, michael mukasey. judge mukasey, good to see you. so you ve read the indictment. how strong is it? well, if the facts set forth in there are provable, and a great deal of it indicates that they clearly are, it is very strong. a lot of the evidence comes from his own lawyer who was compelled to testify over a claim of attorney-client privilege based on conversations he had with donald trump that show that he knew that he had classified information. there was, there are two instances in which he met with people on the outside, one a writer, the other a fundraiser. and showed them classified information and said that he knew that he had it and knew that it was cl
vulnerable. what dan was referring to is that these environmentalists say the forests must be pristine, no one can go in it. paul: no human being. right. afraid of republican rival ares, republican candidates going one to one on substance. paul: kim, pence is running as, i guess, what you would call a full reagan conservative on free market economics, old traditional cultural values as on abortion and robust foreign policy. is there a market for that still in the republican primaries? oh, absolutely. i think so. i mean, look, the party has certainly change focus a little bit with donald trump as its leader in the white house, a little bit more populist. and what you have is other candidates in the field that are now trying to mirror that in certain ways. but i fundamentally believe that that why a lot of americans like donald trump, first and or foremost, was the fact that he was fiery, that he could throw a punch. if you actually look at his record in office, it s pretty reaganesque. and by the way, in part because mike pence put all of the people
