Thirteen consultants have warned of “service collapse” at Letterkenny Hospital in Donegal and expressed fears for the safety of patients attending its emergency department.
The management of University Hospital Sligo was severely criticised at the recent Regional Health Forum West meeting where it was disclosed that it can take up to 8 months for the hospital to respond to Freedom of Information requests and to access requests under the Data Protection Act.
A group of 78 GPs working in Co Donegal have written to Health Minister Stephen Donnelly to highlight concerns over patient safety at Letterkenny University Hospital (LUH).
