Lalbaugcha Raja is Mumbai s most-popular Lord Ganesha idol. After a gap of two years, the lord s idol has been installed amid a huge turnout of devotees.
Dahibavkar has written to the BMC and the Chief Minister’s Office, asking them to discuss the issue and clarify the idol size as soon as possible given that preparations for making idols take months. This year, the festival falls on September 10.
