SAN DIEGO (KGTV) San Diego Gas and Electric shut off power to nearly 2,500 customers as of Wednesday evening due to strong winds and the increased risk of wildfires.
The shutoffs are in the communities of:
Alpine
Sycuan Reservation
According to the company, more than 31,000 customers were notified of being at risk of the outages.
The National Weather Service issued a Red Flag Warning from 8 a.m. Wednesday through noon Thursday for San Diego Countyâs inland valleys and mountains.
