Yes, we are seeing that in the south bay as well as other parts of the bay area as we wake up, take a look at our live camera in san jose. Its foggy and its chilly so we are going to see that for the next couple of hours and then turning very mild as we go into the afternoon with some sunshine. Taking a look at our breezy winds picking up for tomorrow. We are going to stay dry in the forecast as we start out with some cold temperatures and the fog this morning. Phil matier says theyre accused of using their special security access to move drugs all over the country. Thats right. Its interesting. Since 9 11 how much tech has gone in to Airport Security but in this case they used tech to their advantage. Heres the story. Reporter as drug smuggling operations go, it was both simple and bold. According to the u. S. Attorney, three baggage handlers at Oakland International airport used their security clearance to bring bags filled with marijuana in to the air operations area. Thats a secure part of the airport that they can access with no prescreening. The workers then used their own Electronic Security badges to open
Power has gone out to some businesses here at hamilton marketplace, namely, two or three restaurants at the very end of the strip mall. The storm has also caused problems in the santa rosa area where crews are dealing with the downed tree. That downed tree blocking california story and gates road, with high winds not only taking down the street but cables phone lines and power lines came down with it, and it happened at at 1 15 this morning. Fire crews are on the scene trying to politic it and move the tree out of roadway. It is not known how many could be without power.
