An earthquake of magnitude 5.2 occurred only 14 minutes ago 63 km south of San Jose, Guatemala, the Nicaraguan Institute of Territorial Studies (INETER) reported.
The quake hit at a shallow depth of 12 km beneath the epicenter near San Jose, Municipio de San José, Departamento de Escuintla, Guatemala, late at night on Friday 22 January 2021 at 10:58 pm local time.
