LIBERTY HILL, Texas, Jan. 8, 2021 /PRNewswire/ Santa Rita Ranch, a 3,100-acre historical ranch redesigned as a master-planned community with top notch amenities, breathtaking views, and A+ schools near Austin, Texas, now ranks among the top 25 master-planned communities in the nation for 2020 in terms of new home sales, according to independent research groups RCLCO and John Burns Real Estate Consulting.

With an industry-leading 72% increase in new home sales over 2019, Santa Rita Ranch comes in at 23 on the John Burns Real Estate Consulting list and 21 on the RCLCO list for 2020. In addition, Santa Rita Ranch is up 27 positions on the RCLCO list from the 2019 report, ranks as the number-four top-selling master-planned community in all of Texas, and ranks number one in the Greater Austin Area.

A report released January 5 by RCLCO Real Estate Advisors shows the Houston metro area is home to eight of the 50 top-selling master-planned communities in 2020. That’s the highest total for any metro area in the U.S. In all, those eight communities sold more than 5,000 homes last year, which also was the highest total for any metro area. Leading the Houston pack is Bridgeland, a master-planned community in Cypress developed by The Woodlands-based Howard Hughes Corp. The report says 873 homes were sold there last year, up 19 percent from 2019. That total put Bridgeland at No. 9 among the top 50.

Texas-based homebuilder Perry Homes recently partnered with Austin Monthly to present a livestream concert series, Front Porch Sessions, produced by 3rd and Lamar Media. Singer/songwriter Bri Bagwell, who holds seven No. 1 Texas radio singles, performed live from Perry Homes’ Carpenter Hill model home in Buda, TX. Perry Homes also provided complimentary tasting kits from Independence Brewing Co. to a limited number of guests to accompany the show.
