Belts on any new buses, and it remains the only district in the state to do that. If you have an opportunity to save a life or prevent a serious injury by using a seat belt, or having that seat belt available to someone, i think thats a good reason to have it. Critics critics argue that seats belts may be ineffective or even hazardous on a school bus, and requiring students to wear them is tough to enforce. And they pose another challenge to districts facing tight budgets.
