Officers who were pepper sprayed, one of them had to be taken to the hospital, all are expected to be okay. Police say they were forced to declare the protest a Public Safety hazard after demonstrators started using pepper spray and throwing bottles. Despite the violence, no one was arrested, the event was organized by a group called team save america, as Elissa Harrington reports, the leader of that group ended up in hospital. Well, the countdown is on to head back to class in the next couple of weeks, students will be back in school at the bay areas Largest School districts. But will there be enough educators to teach them . Californias largest Public School districts are struggling to find credentialed teachers. Our states Rural Communities are having the toughest time recruiting bay area School Districts are also struggling to fill vacancies as well. San francisco unified is experiencing employee shortages in most roles. The district says to date that they have filled about 76 of 600 classroom vacancies. Theyre expanding efforts to try and recruit more qualified candidates. Ted linder reports on the problem of the nationwide Teacher Shortage and some of the possible solutions to address it with back to School Season ramping up parents and students are gearing up.
