On night when most kids are out having fun trickortrea trickortreating, these kids are in the care of the county and he is her at the county jail. Milpitas police say 29yearold reyes brought his 2 kids here and left them in his suv seen in the photo. It was 10 00 oclock tuesday night and reyes off to visit a friend in the area. Police got a call from a concerned neighbor who noticed the kids at 12 42 the next afternoon. Officer show up and they find 10yearold female and 8yearold male all by themselves in the car and tire tired. They are cold and hungry. Reporter the kids were taken in protective custody. Reporter finally wednesday night more than 24 hours after police say he left his kids, reyes called them to report his vehicle and children missing. The neighbor who called police didnt want to be on camera but said she heard honking from the suv and saw little feet pressed up against the horn. She figured it was a neighbor car but nagging feeling that something just wasnt right made her call 911. Saw police towing
leave, leave. but cops are surrounding the doors. they basically held us inside. seemed lick some people on the outside tried to force their way in or come in after the doors were closed. and then that led to a person being taken into custody and then numerous people in the crowd started throwing chunk of concrete at the officers. reporter: later as things began to calm down the protestors were allowed to leave the hall. they left holding hands in solidarity. none of them were arrested. now earlier in the day there were also some tense moments when students entered the hall. several of them had pinned in one officer. that officer and another used pepper spray on the students in order to get out. one student grabbed an officer magazine clip. that student was arrested. it s eventful at the school. school started few weeks ago and protestors promise there will be many more of these demonstrations to come. live at uc beforecly, abc 7 news. thanks lillian. to presidential p
