Near Triple-Digit Temperatures Expected In The Santa Clarita Weather Forecast
Near triple-digit temperatures are expected for the Santa Clarita weather forecast by the end of the week bringing elevated fire conditions.
Starting Wednesday a “noticeable” heating trend is expected to start lasting through the end of the week, said Rich Thompson, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service.
Wednesday into Thursday temperatures are forecasted to be in the low to mid-80s, according to Thompson.
By Friday, conditions are expected to peak with temperatures reaching around 97 degrees, according to officials.
“Normal temperatures for this time of year are around 76 or 77 degrees,” Thompson said. “It’s definitely going to be warmer than normal.”

Snow Could Affect Grapevine As Rain, Cool Temperatures In Santa Clarita Weather Forecast
Cooler temperatures and rain are in the Santa Clarita weather forecast for the next week, bringing snow levels down to elevations that could affect the Grapevine.
Starting Friday the first of three storms is expected to arrive in Santa Clarita, said Rich Thompson, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service.
“The first chance of rain will be beginning (Friday) afternoon through Sunday morning, with the best chance of rain during the day Saturday,” Thompson said.
The first storm is expected to bring light scattered showers, bringing at most one-quarter inch of rain, according to officials.
