The Sant Vicenç dels Horts City Council celebrated the second edition of the Fava d’Or de Cacau awards, a distinction to the 50 best pastry shops in Catalonia within the framework of the fourth edition of the Mostra Internacional de Pastisseria that the municipality organized between Saturday and last Monday.
The three most outstanding awards went to the Barcelona-based Escribà (living tradition), Santacreu from Viladecane ( innovation) and Uñó from Matador (singular sweet).
The Mostra aims to give value to the professional activity of the pastry sector among the general public and its awards recognize the best establishments in Catalonia through a selection process carried out by expert personnel.
