In yet another attempt to persuade farmers to end their protest and hold talks with the government, Union agriculture minister Narendra Singh Tomar on Thursday wrote an open letter to farmers, appealing to them not to fall prey to the lies spread by the Opposition regarding the farm laws. Terming the Opposition s allegations white lies , Tomar said the central government is ready to clear all doubts that the farmers may have.
