Two firefighters were injured in this mornings fire. This is the fifth deadly fire in Montgomery County this year. Smoke poured out of the windows and roof of this home early this morning after a fire level,through the split ultimately claiming the life of an 81yearold woman. This is very sad. Very sad. Montgomery county fire officials tell us the fire started in the basement of the house around 4 30. The man who lived in the basement was able to get out on his own and told firefighters his mother was still inside on the second floor. An old lady. She seemed very nice. Firefighters went in through an upstairs window. Abc 7 cameras were there as the injured woman was pulled from the home. The woman was taken to the hospital where she later died.
