FEW months into your appointment as the Director General, National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism (NIHOTOUR), how would describe this national assignment?
Not much is known about the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism (NIHOTOUR), the nationâs âsleepyâ tourism school established to provide training for hotel workers, travel and tour companies as well as tourism-reliant organisations. Travel and Tourism stakeholders had praised the Federal Government when a technocrat was appointed recently to manage the school which has existed for over 26 years. The new Director General, NIHOTOUR, Alhaji Nura Sani Kangiwa, who is already doing things differently with partnerships/collaboration, says thereâs light on the horizon.
