Founded in 2002, the Open Frame Film Festival is presented by Malone s Department of Communication Arts.
Films begin at 7 p.m. Admission is free but seats can be reserved by calling the Palace box office or getting tickets starting at 6:30 p.m. when doors open.
Movies filmed in Stark, Summit
A total of 10 pieces will be screened totaling 73 minutes. Topics include college life, the COVID-19 pandemic, family, love, Christianity and crime, said Sangsun Choi, Malone s assistant professor of media production.
Movies were filmed in Stark County and Summit County, with Malone students responsible for the major roles in overall film production, including acting, said Choi, who supervised all aspects of the film production process.
