It may be recalled that on August 31, 2023, the Principal Secretary of the Forest, Ecology & Environment Department wrote letters to the Registrars of Universities and government departments, advising them to submit resumes of eligible candidates for recommendation to the Government of India for nomination to the SEAC and SEIAA. The Principal Secretary urged them to send the resumes of candidates by September 15, 2023.
