residents in the parts of the south have a massive clean-up on their hands after a string of deadly tornadoes. dozen os people, including three children were killed. dozens more were injured. they carved a wide path of destruction in parts of mississippi where experts believe a severe f-4 twister touched down. winds are estimated to be around 170 miles an hour. homes and businesses were flattened. dozens of trees were uprooted. tornadoes were also spotted in louisiana, arkansas, alabama. in yazoo city, mississippi, survivors described how buildings literally crumbled around them. i run, went in the sanctuary, and we had a communion table at the front of the church. i got under that communion table. the windows started breaking out and blowing around. the furniture and then the building collapsed around me. the glass was flying. everything was just breaking, trees were breaking. and it s just unbelievable. it s something you don t want to ever experience. teams from the
southern charles county, st. mary s county, a tornado warning for about the next ten to 12 minutes or so. this is the one cell we re seeing on the rest of the storm system. the same one that moves through the planes in areas of the deep south through the weekend. so this is what s left of it. quite a bit of lightning in these storms, too, folks. intensity going up, not down. the last two minutes there, seemed to have dropped. but the last ten minutes, 99 lightning strike, whether it s cloud to cloud or cloud to ground. quite a bit of lightning there currently and demby bay to leonard town area. seek shelter inside if you re anywhere east along the line of the storm. a tornado warning for st. mary and southern charles county. if there are any reports of damage, whether it s high gusts or from the light anyone or the possible rotation that s taking place in the cell. ten minutes ago now the national weather service issued the tornado warning on the cell. a long line of storms g
