SOUTH HURON – Roof replacement at the Exeter Lawn Bowling Clubhouse and the Kirkton-Woodham Pool House has been put on hold after tenders received for the work were over the amount that South Huron had budgeted for.
The municipality received five bids for the project, with one disqualified as it did not conform to specifications. Of the four other bids, they ranged in price from $30,714 to $56,551, excluding HST. Council at its April 6 meeting decided not to award a tender for the project.
