Feds, province announce funding for infrastructure projects in Sask

(980 CJME file photo) Projects ranging from new sidewalks in the village of Endeavour to a new community centre in the town of Kinistino are receiving funding from the governments of Canada and Saskatchewan. On Thursday, investments in 55 infrastructure projects across the province were announced by the two levels of government. The feds are kicking in more than $21.2 million, with the province adding more than $16.4 million. The recipients of the funding are adding $12.5 million to the total. The federal funds are coming from the COVID-19 Resilience Stream of the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program.
