It might look like a sad sight lying on its side in the mud, but campaigners working to save this historic Teesside railway signal and its box are back on track.
Marc Kim Demers, age 61 years, passed away peacefully in the company of loving family at TBRHSC on Tuesday, December 29, 2020.
Marc was born in Sudbury, Ontario on May 28, 1959. He grew up in Levack, Ontario just outside of Sudbury along with his 7 siblings. As a 19 year old he moved to Thunder Bay where he worked at Richardson International, retiring as a Millwright after 35 years of service.
Marc enjoyed the outdoors; hunting, fishing and spending time at camp on Onaping Lake. Marc never missed an opportunity to spend time with his sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews. He was always available to help build, fix, play cards and give (and take) a small course .
