Youngsters in Stockton Heath are preparing to camp out in their living rooms and back gardens next month to raise money for charity. Beavers, cubs and scouts from Stockton Heath Scout Group will be bedding down for the night, somewhere that they wouldn’t normally sleep. The children will be supporting Christian Aid’s camp out to help out challenge between May 10 and May 16, raising funds for people who have no place to call home. Joint scout leader Sandra Pugh said: Beavers, cubs and scouts will raise money through sponsorship by spending the night in a bed that is not their own.
