Reporter for the Northern Advocate jodi.bryant@nzme.co.nz Today is International Women s Day, a day to celebrate achievements and raise awareness about women s equality. The day has been celebrated since 1911 and is a national holiday in many countries. This year s theme is Choose to Challenge with the idea that a challenged world is an alert world and, individually, we re all responsible for our own thoughts and actions.
Northland certainly has its fair share of high-achieving women. Here we ask some of these inspirational women to share their insights.
