A woman was arrested on Saturday for her alleged involvement in a hit-and-run crash that killed New York federal judge Sandra Feuerstein and injured a six-year-old child in Florida.
CNN reports that Nastasia Andranie Snape was arrested on Saturday. She faces charges of vehicular homicide, leaving the scene of a crash involving death and leaving the scene of a crash with injury.
According to an affidavit obtained by the news outlet, Feuerstein was walking south on the sidewalk when a red, two-door sedan that was being driven “erratically” drove onto the sidewalk and struck her. Feuerstein was taken to Delray Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.

A woman who claimed to be Harry Potter is in custody after a deadly hit and run in Boca Raton on Friday.
Police say 23-year old Nastasia Snape went around stopped traffic, driving onto a sidewalk. She struck two pedestrians, including 75-year old Federal Judge Sandra Feuerstein and a 6-year old boy.
The judge died. The boy suffered serious injuries.
Investigators say Snape fled the scene and later crashed her vehicle in Delray Beach. That s where she told paramedics that she was the boy wizard and claimed she had not been in an accident.
Police found a synthetic drug known as T salts in her purse. They are known to cause erratic behavior.
