SANDISFIELD â David Hubbard once had to drive his backhoe down Dodd Road to bring his wife home because her truck got stuck in the mud.
Hubbard says the roads arenât casting off water before the dirt turns to mud. He says the ditches arenât deep enough and that laying gravel and grading isnât doing the trick.
âItâs like trying to empty the ocean with a teaspoon,â he said. âIt will not fix it, and it is a waste of money and it is dangerous.â
Several weeks ago, a UPS driver couldnât get up the same road.
