Sandersville 11-year-old charged with 3 counts of arson

SANDERSVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – An 11-year-old is charged with three counts of arson after three recent fires.
Washington County Sheriff Joel Cochran wrote on the sheriff’s office’s Facebook page that the charges are a result of a Park Avenue apartment fire in Sandersville on July 1 and two separate fires on July 4 in Bartow.
The juvenile is being held in a state juvenile facility awaiting a hearing in Washington County Juvenile Court.
“I appreciate the cooperation between the Washington County Fire Fighters, State Fire Marshal’s Office and collaboration of local law enforcement from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and the Sandersville Police Department with bringing this case to a resolution in a timely manner,” Cochran wrote.

Sheriff Joel Cochran says search crews located a body believed to be Prince along Pleasant Grove Road,

SANDERSVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office announces an arrest and the discovery of a body believed to be missing 46-year-old Tina Prince, based on a preliminary investigation.
During a Friday evening news conference, Sheriff Joel Cochran says search crews located the body along Pleasant Grove Road, a rural road outside of Sandersville in Washington County. GBI Crime Scene Specialists and Sheriff’s Office Investigators continue to process the scene.
Cochran also announced the arrest of 31-year-old Aaron Matthew Adams in connection to the case. He is charged with felony concealing a death and two felony counts of false statements. Sheriff Cochran says Adams is the male friend mentioned earlier in the investigation and more charges are pending.
